It’s been a great 2017-18 season thus far for Alice Springs’ Arunga Park Speedway, which was recently bolstered by the running of two state titles, both of which received significant local and interstate support.
For the first time in a decade, Sprintcars, the pinnacle class of Australian speedway, are set to return to Alice Springs’ Arunga Park Speedway in April for the 2017 Easter Sprintcar Dance in the Desert event.
After a week’s worth of inclement weather and an abundance of water on the track, Alice Springs’ Arunga Park Speedway was extremely pleased to be able to get last Saturday night’s racing underway with the annual Presidents Cup.
Alice Springs’ Arunga Park Speedway is set to host their season opener this Saturday night, with the opening rounds of the Junior Series and Quad Series in a double points round.
The redeveloped track and surrounds at Arunga Park has a good workout in preparation for the official reopening on Saturday.
